Instyle Magazine - £2.50 (Tesco)
I don't usually buy a lot of magazines, only if I need my fill of celebrity gossip, because I tend to either read blogs or find anything I need online. I read on a blog a few weeks ago that Instyle were going to feature some little Benefit goodies, which is always a good thing in my books. I'd never read Instyle before to be honest, just because I know what I like and usually go straight for magazines such as Company and More. When I saw that there were little Benefit products included this month, I decided that now was the perfect time to try something new. It also helped that Tesco were doing Instyle magazine for £2.50 instead of the normal price - after that I didn't to be convinced.
I won't spend too much time talking about the magazine itself, but after flicking through the pages and reading a few articles I really love it. It has some really good fashion tips and actually shows a lot of high street pieces, which I think's really important. Anyway, so long story short.. I'll definitely be buying Instyle again and it may even before a regular read.
Now, onto the goodie. There are three different Benefit products that you can get with Instyle this month - these are Sunbeam, Cha Cha Tint and Benetint. I went for Sunbeam because it looked like something that I could use every day and would be quite versatile in my make-up bag. It's a highlighter in a golden colour that is really shimmery and looks so nice when it catches the light. I dabbed and blended it across my cheek bones and my nose, which actually made my face look really sunkissed and my skin actually looked so healthy. I was so impressed and whenever the light hit my face, my complexion just looked so much better.

These little samples are such a good idea to try if you're thinking of buying the product already. After using this a couple of times I already want the full-sized bottle. Sunbeam is £18.50 a bottle on the Benefit website but the little sample you get with Instyle is also worth around £9, so my maths says that its definitely a good little sample. I'm glad I went for this now instead of the other two, even though I would still quite like to try them.

I don't usually read Instyle either but I really enjoyed it! I always thought it was a maturer magazine like Marie Claire, compared to Company or Elle that I usually go for.
ReplyDeleteI got ChaCha Tint, I love it! xo.
Me too! Just shows you shouldn't judge a magazine by its cover ey (literally, haha!) :)) The full sized Sunbeam will definitely be on my Christmas list!
