She Said Beauty - My First October Box

She Said Beauty Box - £9.00 (plus p&p)

So I've done the unthinkable and cancelled my Glossy Box subscription... SHOCK HORROR! I was getting a little sick of it and to be honest, I wasn't as impressed as I was when I first signed up. I'd heard a lot of good things about She Said Beauty, and since I was already a member on their website I decided to try a box.

The She Said Beauty box is a monthly subscription, like a lot of the others, but is a little bit cheaper. At £9.00, which isn't a lot cheaper I know, any saving is better than nothing in my eyes at the minute. You get six beauty samples, like other boxes, but three of them in this month's box are full sized products. I think this is such a good idea that they include full sized samples - it feels a little more rewarding instead of just receiving little packets and tubes.

So onto the products. I was so happy when I opened the box up to a mini bottle of Palmer's Cocoa Butter as it is my absolute favourite. This mini version of the full sized bottle I have will be perfect to pop in my bag and carry round with me. Cocoa Butter contains loads of Vitamin E, which is brilliant for keeping your skin nourished and in really good condition. This was one of the full sized samples, which I was super happy about, and is about £1.20 for the small 50ml bottle.

The next sample that I was instantly drawn to was the Herbacin Wuta Kamille Hand Cream. My hands are always dry from work, and the skin around my nails is always cracking which is so painful. This is the perfect size to pop in my bag to carry around with me, as its in a cute little tin. The hand cream is designed to protect your hands from all weather conditions, and it is said to be able to soothe and moisturise damaged hands. This is definitely something that I'll be using a lot in the next few months, and it makes it better that this is also a full sized product.

One of the smaller samples I received was B.liv Off With Those Heads, which is a gel that removes stubborn blackheads and whiteheads. I do have times where I seem to get a lot of these, so it'll be really interesting to use this and see if it makes a difference to my skin. The gel apparently keeps excessive oil under control and will prevent future breakouts, so I'll definitely be putting this little baby to the test.

Another of the smaller samples included was Cellnique Advanced Bio Renewal Masque. This is a brand that I can honestly say I have never heard of, but am very much looking forward to trying. The product is a masque that exfoliates dead skin cells and deeply cleanses the pores. As many of you will know, since I haven't shut up about it, anything for the skin is a massive passion of mine at the minute. This is something that'll be first on my list to try, just because my skin seems to be in an awful condition at the minute.

One product that I'm not really that bothered about, but will try anyway, is the Biao Beauty Rejuvenating Night Creme. I'm not a big fan of night cremes or anything like that, just for the fact that I can never see a difference while and after using them. The creme is said to do what every other does, which is to soothe, moisturise and protect against premature aging. Saying this, I will more than likely try the creme just to see if it is actually any different... watch this space.

She Said Beauty also included a little treat in my October beauty box, which came in the form of Myvitamins. With four different varieties to choose from, the vitamins are tailored to suit what you are looking for for your body. I received the Total Acai Berry vitamins, which is a natural antioxidant. They help the body reduce stress and remove harmful toxins, which is something I've definitely never had in a food supplement before.

My first impressions of the She Said Beauty box is actually really good, I'm super impressed! I was in two minds whether to cancel after just the one box in order to save some money, but I'm thinking about giving it a second try. What do you think?

  2. Those vitamins sound like a great choice since you are right... you can't find stress and harmful toxin removing food! Hopefully they work out well for ya!

    1. It's one of the cheapest boxes around at the minute I think :) I know there's only £1 difference between that and Glossy Box but it soon adds up. I can't wait to see what's in my next box :)

I've done lots of research on them too to make sure they're okay. I'm starting to try the gel this week so I'll definitely do a review on it! Followed your blog too lovely!
