I'm Loving.. Primark Summer Buys

Floral Skort - £7.00 / Wedges - £14.00

Primark is an absolute godsend at the minute, there are some absolutely amazing pieces in their Spring/Summer collection and the prices are even better. When Primark is good, its bloody amazing! I find myself going there first off on any shopping trip, just because there are so many amazing dupes for a fraction of the price in any other store. Now I know Summer is coming to an end, but this is the perfect time to pick up any bits you might find in the sale, or just to stock up so you can use them next year.

I think a good skort is a necessity at the minute, or when we get some nice weather, so I've been stocking up recently. This cutie was only £7! How amazing! I love the pattern and they're a really lightweight material so they'll be perfect for warmer weather.

These wedges are absolutely amazing, even though I have no idea how I'm going to hold myself up in them. At £14 I don't think anyone can complain! I've got quite a few pairs of Primark wedges and they've actually lasted and worn really well, which is always a bonus. I've also had a lot of compliments about them, and a few people said they looked identical to a pair from River Island.. but for a fraction of the price. Something you definitely can't grumble at!

My SpyLoveBuy Picks - Cut Out Shoes

1. £14.95 / 2. £24.95 / 3. £6.24 / 4. £14.95

I stumbled across this website after a huge shoe search one night, and it has quickly before a big obsession of mine. Like any girl I LOVE shoes! This Summer I seem to have gone overboard on the shoe front, and I think anything with cut out detail has drawn me straight in.

Cut out boots were huge last Winter and I love that the trend has moved into sandals for the Summer. They're so wearable and can easily be switched from casual to a more formal look - the ultimate shoe combo in my eyes. SpyLoveBuy has amazingly affordable prices and delivery is totally free on orders over £15.. you heard that right! But don't worry because standard 2-3 day delivery is £1.99! I'm on the look out for some cute ankle boots in the next few weeks, so this is definitely going to be my first stop with prices like these. You can check out the amazing range of shoes they have to offer here.

Which ones are your favourites? Have you ordered from here before?

Outfit Of The Day

Shirt - New Look / Jeans - Primark / Shoes - Primark
Where has the Summer gone? Anyone who knows me will know I love a good jean, but a long sleeved shirt in August? We seem to have gone from heatwave to Winter in a matter of weeks, and I am not a fan in the slightest. These jeans are my favourite at the minute due to so many compliments from people thinking they are from Topshop. I got a little bit scissor-happy one afternoon, and for under £10 instead of around £40,  I certainly can't complain.

All Around The World // World Map Watch

Over the past few months I've turned myself into some sort of watch fiend, I literally am obsessed! I am still head over heels in love with my Armani watch I received for Christmas a few years ago, but I felt like a change and decided to go for something a little different. I'd had my eye on this watch over on the Urban Outfitters website, but being the savvy saver I am decided to turn to good old eBay for alternatives. I'm always a little wary on ordering from anywhere that isn't UK registered on eBay, just for the pure fact that its harder to return things if there are any problems.

I decided to be brave and order from China, and overall I'm really impressed! My watch arrived within two weeks of purchase and was all in working order, and for that price I guess you can't really complain! I actually prefer my cheaper watch to the Urban Outfitters version as the face seems to be a bit bigger and there's really cute detailing on the hands of the watch.

It won't take place of my Armani baby, but it's definitely cute and I think I'll be wearing it a lot day to day.

I'm Loving... Statement Necklaces

1. Primark - £4.00 / 2. Primark - £4.00 / 3. Matalan - £8.00 / 4. Matalan - £8.00

I've gone a little necklace crazy recently and I can't seem to stop wearing them. I never used to really be a jewellery person apart from earrings, the odd Pandora bracelet and my watch... but I'd not really class them as jewellery. Recently I've been buying a lot of plain t-shirts and dresses and I've wanted to jazz them up a little, so I thought a good statement necklace would be the perfect thing. I bought the Matalan ones first from work and I've worn the gold spiked one to death, but today I took a little trip into Primark and found those absolute beauts! For half the price of a Matalan necklace combined they're amazing, and actually feel a lot better quality. I haven't taken the chunky Aztec one off since I bought it - it's definitely a favourite. Primark have some amazing statement necklaces at the minute and I think the most you'd pay is about £8.00, I'm definitely going to have to expand my collection.

What I've Been Buying

Topshop / New Look / Matalan / Matalan / Matalan / Dorothy Perkins /
Primark / Matalan

I decided to show you guys a few things I've been buying the past couple of weeks. I've been trying my very best to not over the top with spending and I actually think I've done quite well. Saying that, only two of these items were in the sale (from Matalan) but that's pretty good for me seeing as I hate shopping the sales.

As you can see there's a major theme to my buying recently... and that's vests! I just love them! The little lime green cropped one is from Topshop and I think I have five of these now in different colours. They're so comfy and easy to wear, and I practically lived in them when I went on holiday the other month. They're £6 each of two for £10 on selected ones, so its a good bargain.

The white cropped tank vest was around £12 from New Look and its so cute. I only just wore this yesterday, but I put it with my Topshop high waisted jeans and it looked really nice. The other two vests were from Matalan and Dorothy Perkins. I think the Matalan one was £12 without my discount, and the Dorothy Perkins one £16. I took a few of this style vest on holiday too and I think they're so easy to wear, plus you can dress them up too.

At the minute I have a little obsession with midi skirts too, and I've probably bought about four in the past few months. I love wearing them on a night out, so I decided to buy the striped one to try in the day too. It was £10 from Matalan, which compared to the £20 I usually spend at River Island and the huge £26 at Topshop is amazing. It's definitely a really good dupe. Another good dupe I bought were the high wasted jeans. I bought some from Topshop about a month ago and I absolutely LOVE them, I've definitely worn them out already. But anyway, I found a pair for £10 in Primark and they're actually just as good, compared to my £40 Topshop ones.

One of my favourite buys recently has been the brown Matalan sandals. I saw them at work months ago and never got round to buying them, so when I spied this pair in the sale I jumped at the chance. They were £7 reduced from £14 and they're super comfy! I'd say a good new couple of weeks of buying!

A Few Holiday Outfits

1. Vest - H&M / Shorts - Primark

2. Vest - Topshop / Shorts - Miss Selfridge (Christmas sale) / Sandals - Primark

3. Playsuit - H&M (Last summer) / Sandals - Primark

These are just a few of my night time outfits I wore while I was away on holiday. I went to Magaluf a few weeks ago now on a girly holiday. The weather was gorgeous and hot, but it did get quite chilly and windy at night. I didn't take anything too over the top and basically just lived in shorts and vests/crop tops at night, with the occasional dress or playsuit. I didn't buy anything too expensive as I knew it was more than likely going to get ruined from the crazy drinking nights out... kinda! Doing this post is giving me major holiday blues, good job I have another in the pipe line! Yay!

What are your favourite outfits to wear when you're on holiday?

My 22nd Birthday, better late than never!

Dress - Miss Selfridge

So my 22nd birthday was literally three weeks ago, and since I've dropped off the blogging network it seems like I have a lot to blog about. This is just a little post to mainly show what I wore out for my birthday and a few of the best snaps from the night. The day before my best friend surprised me with an amazing Spa morning at the Center Parcs in Sherwood Forest. I'd never been before and it was so amazing to literally relax in steam rooms, outdoor pools and jacuzzi's all morning before having a big night out.

I was feeling majorly old from turning 22 but you can always count on friends to cheer you up. The song '22' by Taylor Swift was a very fitting theme tune for that night, which the girls persisted to request in EVERY single place we went. Somehow, I felt less old dancing around to Taylor Swift...

I'm Loving: A Missguided Midi Dress

1 / 2 / 34 / 5

Midi dresses are my absolute favourite trend at the minute, I really cannot get enough of them. I think they are the perfect versatile dress that can be worn in the day time, as well as dressed up for a night out. I know I myself love to do this exact idea, and I think they particularly look amazing and so nice dressed up. I first started seeing these kinds of dresses in Topshop a few months ago, but there was no way I was paying their prices. Missguided is definitely my one-stop place to go for dresses for months now, purely for their price and amazing styles. They have so much to choose from and I can guarantee there is something for everyone.

I actually have the the fifth dress in my line-up in a dark grey colour and it is the comfiest thing I own! Perfect for the day but is really easy to dress up at night. I literally cannot stop buying these dresses.

OOTD - American Apparel Disco Pants

LOVE wrap dress (worn as top) - Topshop
Disco Pants - American Apparel

I never EVER do outfit posts or anything like this, just because I never think anyone would be interested in what I wear. The last ones I did were a few from my September holiday to Lanzarote, and that was mainly just to show of my tan! But I decided to try one last minute and show you all how I styled my Disco Pants when I went out last Saturday night. With there being about eight foot of snow and temperatures being freezing, I decided not to brave the bare legs and opted for my Disco Pants. I think everyone should own a pair, they're literally amazing and I wear mine so much. They're simple to dress up or just throw on a shirt or jumper to make the look casual: sorted!

I put mine with a LOVE dress that I blogged about last week (link here) that I picked up in the January sales from Topshop. To be honest when I was getting ready I totally didn't have this outfit planned out, and I literally threw loads of options into a bag before I went to my cousin's house. I stumbled upon this outfit and decided that it actually worked quite well together, as the dress was so easy to tuck into my Disco Pants.

I think this could work quite well for a casual look too, with some flats and a leather jacket. I opted for my New Look black wedges and my Primark studded clutch, which obviously I don't have here and decided to substitute with wine. I never know what to do with my arms in a photo so I guess holding the wine helped a tad.

I'm definitely going to try and do a few more outfit posts as they're actually quite fun to do! I'm thinking that this could definitely be my late resolution of the year... what do you think?

My Favourite Sale Buy - LOVE Dress

Love Dress - £19.00 (Topshop)

I picked this dress up at the beginning of January in the sales, but I've literally only just remembered about it after wearing it the other night. I've been a massive fan of Love for a while now, ever since my first purchase last year for my birthday night out. I actually bought this exact dress but in a green/blue colour but unfortunately the colour ran when I washed it. I haven't worn it since because I'm paranoid the colour difference is really noticeable, and I was gutted because its one of the comfiest dresses ever.

When I saw this little beauty in the Topshop sale I had to have it! I do sometimes struggle with the sizing because they only do a S/M M/L kinda thing, but with my other dress I tightened it at the waist with a belt and it was perfect. I do find the wrap dresses are a little big on the top half, so I usually put a black vest or strapless cropped top (I can't remember the exact name of them.) Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of me wearing it yet, as I was in far too much of a rush to take an outfit picture (bad blogger) but there's no doubt I'll be wearing it again soon.

Love have some gorgeous things on their website at the minute, I literally have to stop myself from buying every time I go on for a browse. I have an amazing backless dress that I still haven't worn yet from the last summer sale - maybe this should make an appearance soon when its a little warmer?

Are you a fan of Love? What is your favourite buy?

A Mini Christmas Catch-up

Wow, Christmas has been so busy that I literally haven't had any time to blog or really do anything. All I've done since Christmas Eve is work work work, apart from my day off on Christmas Day. Retail is crazy this time of year so my life seems to have been taken over my Matalan. In between that I've had time to see my family and catch up with them, which is definitely my most favourite thing about Christmas time. I'm a really family orientated person and I don't think there isn't a day where I don't see one member of my family (minus my parent and brother, obviously) I've also had a bit of time to hit the sales for a few hours, but to be honest I really didn't see anything that caught my eye. I'm planning a few more trips this coming week so hopefully I'll have some buys to show you.

This is just a little quick update, I'll be doing a post about my Christmas and some of the presents I received. I decided to just show you all a few things I got anyway, seeing as that seems to be the thing to do. I've had such a lovely Christmas so far and I'm very much looking forward to the New Year.

Hope you all had a lovely Christmas :))

My Winter Coat

Primark Coat - £20.00 (WAS £35.00)

I thought I'd give all you bloggers a little insight into this years Winter wardrobe, as I don't often do many fashion-based posts. I've seen this done on a few blogs that I've been reading recently, so I decided to follow the trend. Anyone who knows me will know that I absolutely love coats/jackets/blazers and I've actually started to build up a little collection. It really is as bad as me having three of the same style quilted jacket... but in different colours, but a girl can never have too many coats right?

I don't usually have a standard 'winter coat', as I usually just wear a jacket or blazer with things layered underneath. I saw this absolute beaut in Primark a few weeks ago on a little trip round Lincoln with my cousin and I instantly fell in love. I'd seen a slightly similar one in Topshop, but it was more of an oversized boyfriend blazer and had a lot more fur around the collar. As well as that the price was considerably more expensive and with it being Christmas, I just couldn't budget to spend that much on myself. Anyway, I found this little beauty and instantly had to have it. I did try and talk myself out of it (honestly) so I'm going to blame my cousin for making me buy it! It was also marked down at £20.00 from about £35.00 I think, or it may have been £40.00... anyway I definitely wouldn't have paid the normal price for it so I guess I got myself a bit of a bargain.

The coat itself is quite thick and even though it doesn't look it, it's actually super warm and cosy. The fur on the collar can be removed really easily with a few buttons, which to be honest I thought would have been off straight away. I've come round a lot to fur (faux obviously) and I've been longing for a fur scarf for agers now. The coat is zip-fastening too which I thought was very different, but actually I don't think I've even zipped it up yet and I've worn it nearly every day. I absolutely love the pattern too and I've found that I can wear it with just about anything, its a really versatile coat.

What do you think of my winter coat? What's your favourite style?
